Aghadoe House is an attractive striking period building which was built in 1828, refurbished in the 1860’s partially destroyed by fire in 1922 but re-built c.1925 and was purchased by An Óige (Irish youth hostel Association) in 1957 and has operated as a youth hostel in recent times.
